EGS Tree Surgery is an established professional arboricultural business providing specialist tree surgery and grounds maintenance throughout Northumberland and Tyneside.
Established in 2000 by Kevin Nichol, EGS has over 25 years of experience delivering professional tree services to domestic, commercial and public-sector customers.
From individual residential tree work to larger commercial and organisational requirements, we provide comprehensive arboricultural services backed by professional qualifications, modern equipment and extensive practical experience.
Our experienced team provides professional tree surgery using modern equipment and recognised working practices.
Our tree surgeons are NPTC qualified, and all work is covered by full arboricultural insurance.
We assess each job individually, taking into account the condition, location and surroundings of the tree before recommending the appropriate work.
We work with homeowners, businesses, contractors, organisations, landlords and local authorities. Whether it is a single garden tree or a larger commercial site, we provide professional advice and a service tailored to the requirements of the job.
EGS has built a strong reputation through quality workmanship, professional advice, reliable communication and a clean and tidy finish.
Much of our work comes through recommendations, repeat customers and our established online reputation.
EGS remains a family-owned business, with Kevin Nichol as Founder and Director. Since establishing the business in 2000, Kevin has continued to develop EGS into an established provider of professional tree services. The business became a limited company in 2024 and now trades as EGS Group Ltd.
